We do not have an office in Hyderabad, and we say so plainly. What we offer Hyderabad clients is online consultation with our Delhi NCR team, which handles NCLT and NCLAT matters regularly, and appearance before NCLT Hyderabad on brief through associate counsel. For many clients, that is enough: the papers can be reviewed online, notices and petitions drafted and e-filed, and hearings attended by associate counsel or virtually where the bench permits.
This model suits Hyderabad businesses that want a second opinion before filing or responding, northern businesses with Hyderabad counterparties, and Hyderabad clients with connected matters in Delhi or before the NCLAT. This page explains what we can do, how it works and where it fits. For the bench itself, see NCLT Hyderabad.

What online consultation covers
Most of the work in an NCLT matter is in the papers: checking the debt, the dates, the correspondence and the company's records, and drafting a notice, reply or petition that holds up. All of that can be done online. You share documents by email or a secure link, we meet by video, and we send written advice with options, risks and fees. Notices go by email and registered post, petitions are e-filed on the NCLT portal, and proof of service is uploaded.
For hearings, associate counsel in Hyderabad appear on our brief, which we prepare with a note of dates, key documents and the points the bench is likely to raise. Where the bench allows virtual appearance, our team can appear directly in suitable matters. For contested final hearings, we discuss with you whether our team should travel. We are clear about what this model does not offer: drop-in meetings in Hyderabad and day-to-day presence at the registry.
Replying to a demand notice in ten days
If your Telangana company has received a demand notice under Section 8, you have ten days to reply with a notice of dispute or proof of payment. This reply is crucial: a genuine dispute raised in time defeats a Section 9 petition, and a missed deadline weakens your position badly. Send us the notice and your records the day it arrives. We review the correspondence for any earlier complaint about quality, delivery or amount, draft the reply with supporting documents, and send it before the deadline. If there is no real dispute, we advise you to consider paying or negotiating, because admission would cost far more.

How we work for Hyderabad clients
We are a litigation practice led by Advocate BK Singh, with offices in Dwarka (New Delhi) and Vaishali (Ghaziabad). For Hyderabad clients, this is what you can expect:
- Honesty about presence: online consultation and appearance on brief, not a local office.
- Thorough paperwork: the part of the case that decides most outcomes.
- Urgent replies: demand notice replies within the ten-day window.
- Clear briefs for counsel: dates, documents and likely questions.
- Written fee terms: agreed stage by stage, never linked to the outcome.
Mistakes Hyderabad clients often make
- Letting the ten-day reply period pass without a notice of dispute
- Replying with a dispute that was never raised before
- Filing against the group holding company instead of the project company
- Filing a Hyderabad appeal at NCLAT New Delhi
- Treating an Andhra Pradesh company's case as a Hyderabad matter
A reply that stopped a petition
Here's a made-up example. A Hyderabad construction company received a demand notice from a cement supplier claiming Rs 1.3 crore. The company's site engineers had emailed the supplier months earlier complaining that several batches failed strength tests, and the supplier had acknowledged the complaint.
The company shared the notice with us online on day three. We collected the emails and test reports and sent a notice of dispute within the ten days. The supplier filed a Section 9 petition anyway. Associate counsel appeared before NCLT Hyderabad with our brief, and the bench dismissed the petition because of the pre-existing dispute, leaving the supplier to pursue a civil claim.
A northern supplier and a Hyderabad buyer
Here's a second made-up example. A Haryana electrical goods maker was owed Rs 1.1 crore by a Hyderabad contractor that had signed delivery challans and a ledger confirmation. We sent a demand notice under Section 8. No dispute was raised, and we e-filed a Section 9 petition before NCLT Hyderabad. The contractor settled before the second hearing.
Shareholder disputes in Hyderabad companies
Hyderabad has a mix of new technology companies and established family businesses in pharma, infrastructure and real estate. Shareholder disputes in both often involve the same issues: exclusion from information, dilution through new shares, removal from the board, and diversion of business or assets. An oppression and mismanagement petition before NCLT Hyderabad can seek interim protection and, in the end, orders regulating the company's affairs or a buy-out. Shareholders holding less than 10% can ask the tribunal to waive the threshold, or combine with others. The first step is to download the company's MCA filings and compare them with what you were told.
Pharma and infrastructure creditors
For suppliers to Hyderabad pharma companies, documentation matters: purchase orders, invoices, certificates of analysis and the buyer's acceptance. Quality disputes are common, and a complaint raised before the demand notice will defeat a Section 9 petition. For subcontractors of infrastructure contractors, measurement and certification records decide whether the debt is undisputed. In both cases, check whether the amount is at least Rs 1 crore and whether the contract has an arbitration clause before choosing insolvency. Where the buyer is solvent and the debt is clear, a demand notice often brings payment without a petition.
